What is Hyperpigmentation
Hyperpigmentation is an umbrella term used to characterize normal skin conditions — including post-fiery hyperpigmentation (PIH), melasma and sun spots — in what patches of skin become more obscure than the encompassing region. The obscuring of the skin results from an abundance in melanin — the normal shade that decides skin, hair and eye tone — and as often as possible shows up on the face, hands and different pieces of the body routinely presented to daylight.
