Bengals vs. Ravens Fantasy Start Em Sit Em Week 11 Should you start Lamar Jackson Joe Burrow more on TNF
When the Ravens and Bengals meet in Baltimore on "Thursday Night Football" to open NFL Week 11 (8:15 p.m. ET, Amazon Prime Video), it figures to be an exciting prime-time matchup with plenty of scoring -- and fantasy start 'em, sit 'em questions. With a game total of 46 and the Ravens favored a little more than a field goal, this should be a back-and-forth divisional rivalry and have more points than usual on TNF.For the Bengals, they will once again be without wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring). Wide receiver Andrei Iosivas (ankle) also will mi s the game for Joe Burrow. The Ravens are healthy on the skill position front around Lamar Jackson. Here's looking at who to start in seasonal leagues and DFS lineups from the latest edition of TNF:MORE THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL: | | | Bengals: Who to start, sit in fantasy football on TNFStart: QB Joe BurrowJoey B. is back. He has finished as a top-eight QB in four of the past five games after struggling with a calf injury in the first month. He has a great history vs. the Ravens' defense and had two TDs against them in a shaky performance at home Alexander Wennberg Jersey in Week 2. Burrow should deliver off around 35 attempts.Start: RB Joe MixonMixon has scored in three straight games and is slowly spiking up from his consistent RB2 status. He's still the clear main man in terms of high-leverage volume. Don't expect too much on the ground, but he can compensate with another TD and around five catches.WEEK 11 FANTASY ADVICE: | | | Start: WR Ja'Marr ChaseChase had his big breakout game vs. the Ravens as a rookie, and he'll want to make up for having just five catches for 31 yards on eight targets in the first meeting this year. He'll also get peppered with double-digit targets with Tee Higgins (hamstring) out in a beatable matchup vs. Brandon Stephens. Giddyap.Sit: WR Trenton IrwinIrwin had 54 yards and a score last week filling in for Higgins, but this is a much tougher spot. The TD was nice, but Irwin had just four targets vs. Houston, so playing him here is a stretch.WEEK 11 PPR RANKINGS: | | | | | Sit: WR Tyler BoydThe Ravens have been lights out in slot coverage. His name is Kyle Hamilton, and you better throw away your shot against him. So Anthony Duclair Kids Jersey , it's a no here for me, dog.Sit: TEs Tanner Hudson and Irv Smith Jr.Hudson and Smith have given the team more pop at the position playing off blocker Drew Sample. They've e sentially now split the C.J. Uzomah-Hayden Hurst roles from the past two seasons. The Ravens, however, are the opposite of the Bengals they have exceptional tight end coverage.WEEK 11 STANDARD RANKINGS: | | | | | Sit: Bengals D/STLamar running around doesn't inspire much here with no Sam Hubbard (ankle). This seems like a higher-scoring game with relatively few QB mistakes, so no thank you.Start: K Evan McPhersonMcPherson is trending up after a slow start. That's good enough to trust a big-legged youngster.WEEK 11 DFS: | | | Ravens: Who to start, sit in fantasy football on TNFStart: QB Lamar JacksonJackson is on a three-game cold streak in terms of fantasy. He's played well in reality, minus a couple of mistakes, but the pa sing remains sharp. The TDs just haven't come, and the running hasn't Markus Hannikainen Jersey been wild of late. He did have a top-10 finish against the Bengals in Week 2, though, so we'd stick with him here.Start: RB Gus Edwards | Sit: RB Keaton MitchellThe Gus Bus has parked himself in the end zone in four consecutive games, scoring seven TDs in that span. That's a crazy heater, but given he's the goal-line option in a good offense, you gotta keep trusting his RB2 floor. As for Mitchell, it's hard to trust a rookie who's seen just 15 total opportunities over the past two weeks. If you try to ride his speed, keep in mind he would be a total bust-or-boom play.Start: TE Mark AndrewsThe Bengals lost last year's starting safeties, Je sie Bates and Vonn Bell, in the offseason. Cam Atkinson Jersey Their linebackers have been so-so in coverage. Their cornerbacks are good. Therefore, they have become a tight end void, giving up three straight big games to George Kittle, Dalton Kincaid, and Dalton Schultz. Andrews fits that athletic profile. He caught five pa ses for 45 yards and a TD in the first meeting this year, and he'll build on that here.Start: WR Zay FlowersFlowers hasn't bloomed with booming performances of late, but he still gets it done against tougher coverage inside or outside with his speed and quickne s.Sit: WRs Odell Beckham Jr. and Rashod BatemanOBJ got greased with two TDs the past two weeks for his birthday game and his revenge game. There's not much here to love, though, so you're rolling the dice on a big play. Bateman has a rough spot vs. Cam Taylor-Britt.Sit: Ravens D/STThey still are being played by reputation in a lot of games, and their big plays say they're still Riley Nash Men Jersey OK. However, in a matchup like this, you should avoid them if you can.Start: K Justin TuckerTucker isn't the highest-scoring fantasy kicker this year, but he might be the best kicker in reality. Start him as always.Captain (1.5X): Bengals QB Joe Burrow$15,000FLEX: Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase $11,000FLEX: Ravens TE Mark Andrews $8,800FLEX: Ravens K Justin Tucker $5,400FLEX: Ravens WR Odell Beckham Jr. $5,200FLEX: Bengals K Evan McPherson $4,000Here's investing in the two kickers in what could be a bit of a tack-on field-goal fest. We also have the usual Bengals stack, plus a sure thing in Andrews. Beckham is an ideal contrarian, boom-or-bust play.MVP (1.5X): Ravens TE Mark Andrews$13,000AnyFLEX: Bengals QB Joe Burrow $16,000AnyFLEX: BengalsWR Ja'Marr Chase $15,000AnyFLEX: Ravens RB Keaton Mitchell$8,500AnyFLEX: Bengals WR Trenton Irwin $7,500Same thoughts here with Burrow, Chase, and Andrews needing to be in the mix, but in a DFS tournament, we'll let it rip looking for more big plays from Mitchell running and Irwin receiving.
