Calvin Ridley, Grady Jarrett get little respect in Madden 22 ratings
After Kyle Pitts opened up as Mut 22 coins the NFL's highest-rated rookie EA Sports' Madden 22 video game The Falcons have yet to see another player who is rated in the top 10 of their position.
As of now, Madden has unveiled 10 players from the rookie class of this year's and the top 10 players on the defensive line and wide receiver positions. Calvin Ridley, who ended the Madden 22 ratings cycle with an overall score of 88, was unable to make the top 10 wideouts in this year's game.
In addition, Madden 22 left Falcons defensive tackle Grady Jarrett off of its top 10 interior defensive linemen ratings. The decision to not include Jarrett, who finished as 90 overall at the conclusion of the Madden 22 ratings cycle, is confusing to say the least.
Jarrett's biggest complaint is his connection to Atlanta defense which has suffered over the last few years. It's not fair to blame the team's weaknesses on Jarrett however, they've certainly affected the perception of the former Clemson lineman.
While there's a chance that the Jaguars will surpass their hopes by 2022, it's unlikely that any of their players will earn a Madden rating higher than 90. The Jaguars are experiencing one of their worst seasons in the history of the franchise having lost 15 consecutive games and a lot of players that had a rating of cheap Madden 22 coins 80 or higher last season experienced a decline in their production or suffered from injuries. As a result, they could have lower numbers of players with an rating or more.
