In the game, Earth exists and behaves as a transfer between the measurements

Phantasy Star Online 2's large update is just 1 month away. Here's what material players can look ahead to if Episode 4 releases. Sega has teased the match's first major upgrade since launching on meseta pso2 Twitter. If you've never played with the Japanese version of PSO2, it may seem a bit mad, but just because it's a big departure from Episodes One through Three. There is a lot of new content on the way and a few huge changes. Here is what to look forward to with the upcoming release of Episode Four.

In the game, Earth exists and behaves as a transfer between the measurements. Episode Four follows similar plot lines to popular anime series like Sword Art Online or Accel World where video game characters cross around Earth, and humans with a certain affinity can input PSO2. It is a strange, light-hearted change in the sci-fi, equilibrium of the cosmos episodes that players have experienced so far.

In true anime fashion, the key characters are mostly of high schoolers with this special affinity, and strange events begin to happen around them. On the PSO2 side, you are going to meet some new personalities and find old ones return, although most do not have a significant function. Much of the plot takes place on Earth and involves finding the schedule of a high tech organization, which eventually culminates in a lore link to PSO2's entire world. It is largely a one-off Episode, but the link to Earth remains forever open in the world of PSO2. Since players will be traveling to Earth, there are new Earth-related locales and enemies. One has already been released in the Shape of the Urgent Quest, Virtual Earth Fight Coaching. This area, modeled after Las Vegas, will be one of the new main locations where Episode Four's Quests will occur. Another new principal place is that the roads of Toyko, though it's not clear whether Sega plans to change this to the North American audience. Additionally, there are other locations for the narrative and new Urgent Quests, such as the Moon.

Since they don't exist within this universe, enemies on Earth are not Dark Falz. Alternatively, you will see enemies known as Phantoms, that come in many different types from Clowns to Steamrollers. They are primarily weak to the wind element, such as directors, but there are exceptions. The bosses are either powerful humans or Kaiju variations of cheap PSO2 Meseta Earth objects such as a three-headed subway train, so expect to see some craziness.
